Sarah Shepherd is the Manager & Owner of the Broadway Day Nursery who owns the nursery alongside her husband Nick Shepherd.

They have two young boys so know just how important it is for a parent to trust the people who are caring for their child and be confident that their child is receiving the best start in terms of their learning and development.

Sarah is the manager of the nursery and is qualified to level 7 in several different Early Years qualifications. She also holds Early Years Professional Status.

Nick isn’t involved in the day-to-day running of the nursery, but has a hands-on approach with the business and may be at the setting from time to time.

Through Sarah’s previous job roles and because of having our own young children, we both know the type of childcare we want to provide to parents and the sort of childcare we don’t. We want parents to feel confident when leaving their child with us, that they will be safe, well cared for and provided with plenty of opportunities to grow as an individual.

We want to make supportive partnerships with every parent/carer involved with each child, which will allow for excellent lines of communication between home and nursery, and help the child’s learning immensely.
